WORKING SMARTER.

We’ve invested is the most comprehensive gym management software in South Africa – Itensity – and are ready to launch with it in July!

What does this mean for you?

Apart from an improved client experience, with the Discovery Vitality integration on Itensity, a simple scan of a QR code in the gym will allow you to earn your Vitality points.

Can’t make a training session? Now you’ll be able to effortlessly reschedule and manage your training schedule through our website, ensuring you’re getting in all your sessions for the month.

( As the system will only be effective from next month I need a favour… Pls can those not on debit order please settle their subs via card, with your coach, in the gym, on our new Yoko POS systems. )

What does this mean for us?

With the marketing, onboarding, member management, and collections, all in one place, it’ll free up huge amount of our time to focus on what we’re good at, coaching and in addition offering an improved service on the nutrition side of things.

DA FAMILIA.

Our coaches aren’t just cogs in a machine. They are the heart and soul of the Engine Room, and prioritising their success over maximum profit is what we are about. 

The Engine Room merch has landed (T’s, trucker caps) and together with Myogenic supplements, will be available in your gym on the 1st July.

These products are all about creating additional revenue streams for your coaches. By supporting this in the gym, you’re supporting your coach, a real, genuine person who has put their passion ahead of chasing a huge salary.  

Inline with our coaches being our first priority, we’re keeping things in da famila and in addition to their coaching role, we’re handing over added responsibilities with additional earnings.. 

Grant, based at Gardens, is now our national client and gym manager, offering a better service to our clients and taking over the day to day gym operational stuff.

Grant will be making contact with you to introduce himself and listen to any suggestions you have on what we can do better.

Ilana, also at Gardens, is our now social media manager, tasked with reaching more people with our training ethos and values.

And lastly Richard, Salt Rock, is the new programming manager. Rich, with the input from all or coaches, has been working hard on not only bettering our training programs, but offering more specific goal orientated programs. You can now swear his name under your breathe on your last drop set!

PARTY TIME.

It’s our 2nd year in Cape Town! 2 years, 2 gyms and together with Monster, we are throwing an unapologetically inappropriate party!

Tequila, Monsters, Flash Tattoos, Flaming Dancers, Our Resident DJ and a Sneaky Spank Station.
